They brought sick people to Jesus (Mk 6:55-6:55)

They rushed about

The whole region.

They began

To bring

The sick people

On pallet mats

To wherever

They heard

That Jesus was.”

There is something similar to this in Matthew, chapter 14:35.  A number of people ran around the whole countryside region They began to carry (καὶ ἤρξαντο…περιφέρειν) all the sick people (τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας) on pallet mats (ἐπὶ τοῖς κραβάττοις) to wherever they heard that Jesus was (ὅπου ἤκουον ὅτι ἐστίν).  In other words, they wanted to bring all the sick people to Jesus, who was like a mobile hospital.
