περιέδραμον ὅλην τὴν χώραν ἐκείνην καὶ ἤρξαντο ἐπὶ τοῖς κραβάττοις τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας περιφέρειν, ὅπου ἤκουον ὅτι ἐστίν.
There is something similar to this in Matthew, chapter 14:35. A number of people ran around the whole countryside region (περιέδραμον ὅλην τὴν χώραν ἐκείνην). They began to carry (καὶ ἤρξαντο…περιφέρειν) all the sick people (τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας) on pallet mats (ἐπὶ τοῖς κραβάττοις) to wherever they heard that Jesus was (ὅπου ἤκουον ὅτι ἐστίν). In other words, they wanted to bring all the sick people to Jesus, who was like a mobile hospital.
