Stay where you go (Mk 6:10-6:10)

“Jesus said

To them.

‘Wherever you enter

A house,

Stay there

Until you leave the place!’”

καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς Ὅπου ἐὰν εἰσέλθητε εἰς οἰκίαν, ἐκεῖ μένετε ἕως ἂν ἐξέλθητε ἐκεῖθεν.

Equivalent passages to this can be found in Matthew, chapter 10:11, and Luke, chapter 9:4.  Mark indicated that Jesus (καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς) had a very simple message about where to stay.  Wherever they entered a house (Ὅπου ἐὰν εἰσέλθητε εἰς οἰκίαν), they should stay there in one place until they left (ἐκεῖ μένετε ἕως ἂν ἐξέλθητε ἐκεῖθεν).  They should not switch places.  They were not to go wandering around.  Find a place and stay there.
