Against Judah (Zeph 1:4-1:4)

“I will stretch out

My hand

Against Judah.

I will stretch out

My hand

Against all the inhabitants

Of Jerusalem.”

Yahweh, via Zephaniah, was clear.  He was going to stretch out his hand against Judah and everybody living in Jerusalem.  He was not happy about what was going on there.
