King of Israel (Eccl 1:12-1:12)

“I,

Qoheleth,

Have been king over Israel

In Jerusalem.”

Qoheleth repeats his initial assertion that that he has been the king of Israel at Jerusalem. This was a clear attempt to place this writing in the 10th century, BCE.
