Righteousness (Prov 13:5-13:6)
“The righteous hate falsehood.
But the wicked act shamefully and disgracefully.
Righteousness guards one whose way is upright.
But sin overthrows the wicked.”
Once again there is the comparison between righteousness and wickedness. The righteous hate falsehood. The wicked go about shamefully and disgracefully, while the righteous stay on the upright path. Sin eventually overthrows the wicked. The righteous always win.
